We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Operations Manager to oversee and optimize our Customs Brokerage operations. The Operations Manager will play a critical role in coordinating and managing the efficient movement of services, ensuring timely delivery and optimizing costs. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of supply chain and logistics processes. Duties and Responsibilities > Direct and manage all aspects of Customs Brokerage operations, including transportation, warehousing, trucking up to delivery management. > Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels > Lead and motivate a team of customs brokerage professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback > Foster a positive work environment that encourages collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement > Collaborate with vendors and third-party providers to negotiate contracts, ensure compliance, and optimize service levels and costs > Evaluate vendor performance and take corrective actions as needed to maintain high standards > Streamline the supply chain by analyzing and optimizing shipment releases, tariff familiarity, transportation routes, and to meet customer demands efficiently > Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions > Monitor on-time delivery, and other relevant metrics to ensure operational excellence > Ensure compliance with customs regulations related to logistics, transportation, and shipment release management > Develop and manage the budget, monitoring expenses, analyzing variances, and implementing cost-saving initiatives > Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation within the brokerage operations to increase efficiency and accuracy > Implement best practices and industry standards to continuously improve brokerage processes and procedures

Contract Management: Draft, review, and assist in the negotiation of various agreements (e.g., loan agreements, NDAs, service contracts). Maintain and organize legal documents, templates, and a master list of contracts. Regulatory Compliance: Assist in preparing and filing documents required by regulatory agencies (SEC, BIR, AMLC, etc.). Monitor the latest developments in relevant laws and regulations and share key updates internally. Support the implementation of internal policies related to Data Privacy, Corporate Governance, and Anti-Money Laundering (AMLA). Corporate Legal & General Support: Maintain official corporate records, such as Minutes of the Board of Directors' Meetings. Serve as a legal point of contact for inquiries from other departments (HR, Finance, Operations, etc.). Coordinate with external legal counsel on litigation, legal opinions, and other matters.
