Short Summary: The General Manager – Dairy Farm will oversee and manage all farm operations, focusing on dairy cattle (90%) and other livestock (10%). The role requires strong leadership to connect livestock care teams with business management, ensuring smooth operations, high productivity, and sustainable practices. The GM will also support tourism-related projects, agricultural crop planning, and food production for both internal use and external sales. This position is key to driving growth, maintaining animal welfare, and promoting Chokchai Farm as a safe and attractive agri-tourism destination. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee daily farm operations: feeding, milking, health care - Manage livestock health: vaccination, hygiene, disease prevention - Monitor and maintain barns, equipment, and machinery - Prepare and control farm budget, monitor financial performance - Identify new business opportunities and revenue streams - Lead and train staff on dairy farming techniques and safety rules - Build relationships with buyers, suppliers, and processing plants - Ensure milk quality and delivery meet industry standards - Implement sustainable livestock practices and manage farm waste - Apply modern technology (automated milking, IoT monitoring) - Support agri-tourism activities and new farm development projects Organizational Structure: The General Manager will report directly to the company’s top management. The role supervises multiple teams, including livestock care, crop production, equipment maintenance, and tourism operations. Close coordination with the business and finance teams is required to ensure farm operations align with company goals.
