• Job Description

  Responsible for overseeing the entire manufacturing process of animal feed, ensuring that production targets are met efficiently, safely, and in compliance with quality standards and regulations PRODUCTION PLANNING AND EXECUTION > Develop and implement daily, weekly and monthly production plans based on demand forecasts > Monitor and control production processes to meet output targets > Adjust schedules and priorities to accommodate raw material availability and equipment constraints > Ensure efficient use of raw materials and minimize wastage > Implement continuous improvement strategies (eg.. 5S, lean manufacturing) QUALITY CONTROL > Coordinate with the quality assurance department to maintain feed quality and safety standards > Ensure compliance with local regulations such as bureau of animal industry (BAI) and FDA feed manufacturing standards PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT > Supervise and train mill operators, technicians and other production staff > Evaluate team performance and promote a culture of safety and accountability HEALTH, SAFETY, AND ENVIRONMENTAL COMPLIANCE > Enforce workplace safety protocols (aligned with DOLE-OSCHC and other local standards) > Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of raw materials and waste products MAINTENANCE COORDINATION > Work closely with the maintenance team to schedule preventive maintenance and address equipment breakdowns promptly REPORTING AND DOCUMENTATION > Prepare and submit production reports, KPI, dashboards, and incident reports > Maintain updated sops and production logs
