Job Description
1. Financial Management & Strategy > Plan, implement, and oversee the company’s financial strategy to support business growth and sustainability. > Manage company financial accounts, including general ledger, cash receipts, and financial assets. > Handle company transactions, debts, and perform accurate cash flow forecasting. 2. Accounting and Reporting > Oversee the full accounting cycle: journal entries, ledger maintenance, accounts payable/receivable, asset accounting, and bank reconciliations. > Ensure timely and accurate closing of monthly, quarterly, and annual books. > Prepare complete financial reports (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow) in compliance with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS). > Monitor and analyze financial data to support sound business decisions. > Conduct internal financial audits and support external auditors during statutory reviews. 3. Budgeting, Forecasting & Analysis > Lead the preparation of annual budgets and rolling forecasts. > Monitor actual financial performance vs. budget, analyze variances, and provide actionable insights to management. > Offer financial guidance to departments for cost control and profitability improvement. > Develop financial models and tools for planning and evaluation purposes. 4. Tax & Regulatory Compliance > Ensure timely and accurate filing of all tax returns: income tax, VAT, withholding tax, etc., in accordance with BIR regulations. > Stay up to date with changes in tax laws and implement compliant practices. > Coordinate with tax consultants and legal advisors on complex compliance matters. > Ensure full compliance with labor laws, tax codes, and other relevant regulations. 5. Payroll Administration > Manage end-to-end payroll processes: salary disbursement, bonuses, and statutory contributions (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, withholding tax). > Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure confidentiality. > Address and resolve employee payroll concerns and discrepancies. > Submit all required payroll-related reports to government agencies. 6. Cash and Treasury Management > Monitor daily cash position and manage company bank accounts. > Oversee payment authorization, disbursement schedules, and maintain optimal liquidity. > Build and maintain banking relationships and negotiate financial services as needed. 7. Internal Controls & Risk Management > Design and implement internal control systems to protect company resources. > Conduct internal reviews and risk assessments across finance and payroll operations. > Recommend improvements to strengthen compliance and minimize risk exposure. 8. Team Leadership & Development > Supervise and develop the finance and accounting team for high performance. > Allocate tasks effectively and ensure timely completion of deliverables. > Conduct performance reviews, provide coaching, and promote skill development. 9. Financial Systems & Process Improvement > Evaluate, implement, and optimize accounting and payroll systems. > Streamline workflows to improve efficiency and reporting accuracy. > Train staff on financial tools, systems, and updated processes.

Requirement
> Minimum of 5 to 7 years of relevant experience > A CPA license is preferred. Non-CPA candidates with strong qualifications and relevant experience can also be endorsed. > Experience in the logistics industry is preferred, though not strictly required.
