• Job Description

  Conduct research and development of advanced materials, including metals, engineering resins (plastics), and wood-based composites, tailored for camper shell. Formulate and optimize material compositions to meet specific camper shell requirements such as high strength, lightweighting, and thermal stability. Perform material characterization and mechanical testing (e.g., tensile strength, fatigue, impact resistance, and weatherability) to evaluate physical properties and durability. Analyze failure modes and material degradation to improve material reliability and structural integrity. Collaborate with product design, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to successfully transition newly developed materials from the demo phase to mass production. Partner with raw material suppliers to source innovative materials, negotiate technical specifications, and resolve supply chain or quality issues. Drive Value Analysis / Value Engineering (VA/VE) initiatives to reduce material costs while maintaining or enhancing the quality and safety of automotive parts. Support and manage staffs
