  Short summary: The Sourcing / Senior Engineer is responsible for supplier selection, development, and cost management. This role manages new projects, supplier audits, and supports cost reduction initiatives. The engineer will work closely with suppliers to ensure quality, cost, and delivery (QCD) performance. Strong knowledge of automotive quality systems (ISO/IATF) and sourcing activities is required. Key Responsibilities: - Participate in sourcing activities, supplier selection, and evaluation - Manage supplier tooling schedules, project preparation schedules, and APQP reports - Control supplier cost performance through cost reduction, VA/VE, and localization projects - Conduct supplier process change activities, including on-site audits - Cooperate with suppliers to maintain QCD targets - Prepare and control documents to meet customer, ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001 requirements - Support company activities and projects as assigned by management Organizational Structure: This role is part of the Sourcing / Purchasing department and reports to the Purchasing Manager. The engineer will work with suppliers, QA, production, and project teams to ensure smooth sourcing processes for new and existing models. The position also collaborates with Japanese management for supplier evaluation and global standards alignment.
