• Job Description

  - Develop production schedules: Create and optimize monthly, weekly, and daily production plans based on sales forecasts and customer orders. - Capacity planning: Analyze and calculate machine capacity and labor requirements to ensure efficient utilization of factory resources. - Lead time management: Monitor and manage production lead times to ensure on-time delivery to customers. - Material Requirements Planning (MRP): Calculate required raw materials and components, and collaborate with the purchasing department to ensure timely procurement. - Inventory optimization: Monitor stock levels of raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods to minimize excess inventory and prevent shortages. - Warehouse coordination: Supervise stocktaking (cycle counts) and ensure the accuracy of inventory data - Monitor production progress: Track daily output against the production plan, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions for any delays. - Cross-functional coordination: Act as a primary liaison between Sales, Purchasing, Quality Assurance, and the Manufacturing team to align delivery schedules with customer requirements. - Logistics alignment: Coordinate with the logistics or shipping department to arrange timely delivery orders once products are finished.
