  Short Summary: - This position is responsible for quality assurance and quality engineering activities for optical communication modules. The engineer will develop and improve quality control processes, inspection standards, and reliability testing methods. You will work closely with R&D, production, and suppliers to ensure product quality from new product development (NPI) to mass production. The role also includes analyzing customer complaints, leading root cause analysis, and implementing continuous improvement actions. Strong knowledge in optical module technology and quality tools is required. This role is important to maintain high product reliability and meet international standards for global customers. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and improve quality control processes and inspection standards - Create reliability test plans (e.g., Telcordia, MIL standards) - Support NPI process (PFMEA, PCP analysis) - Monitor production quality (CPK, SPC) - Lead problem solving using 8D report - Evaluate supplier quality and manage incoming inspection standards - Handle customer complaints and perform root cause analysis (5Why, Fishbone) - Prepare quality reports (DPPM, MTBF) - Conduct reliability tests (HTOL, TC, UBDH) - Work with lab for failure analysis (SEM, EDS, Eye diagram) - Apply quality tools such as Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing Organizational Structure: - You will work in the Quality Engineering team and report to the Quality Manager. The team includes QA engineers, QE engineers, and inspectors, with around 5–10 members depending on project size. You will closely collaborate with cross-functional teams such as R&D, Production, and Purchasing departments. The role requires frequent coordination with suppliers and sometimes customers. You are expected to lead quality improvement activities and support junior engineers when needed. Strong teamwork and communication skills are important in this role.
