  Short Summary: - This position is responsible for purchasing activities for direct materials used in production. The Purchasing Engineer will work closely with suppliers, internal teams, and overseas partners to support new model projects and part localization. The role includes supplier sourcing, evaluation, cost analysis, and project management from development stage until mass production. The engineer will also support quality systems such as PPAP and IATF 16949. This role is suitable for candidates who want to grow in purchasing, supplier management, and automotive manufacturing projects. New graduates with strong interest and basic knowledge are welcome to apply. Key Responsibilities: - Source and develop local and overseas suppliers - Support new model and localization parts - Select, evaluate, and audit suppliers - Manage supplier launch readiness and APQP - Control tooling and project preparation schedules - Lead supplier kick-off meetings - Support PPAP, quality improvement, and IATF 16949 - Analyze part and raw material costs (VA/VE) - Prepare and manage purchasing contracts - Evaluate supplier performance and rating - Support cost and material control during mass production Organizational Structure: - The Purchasing Engineer will work in the Group Purchasing Team, Direct Material section. The team consists of several purchasing engineers and staff who handle supplier management, cost control, and project activities. This position will report directly to the Purchasing Manager or Senior Manager. The engineer will work closely with Quality, Production, Engineering, and overseas headquarters. Daily work includes coordination with internal departments and communication with suppliers. Teamwork and clear reporting are important in this role. Guidance and support will be provided, especially for new graduates, to help them understand purchasing processes and project flow.
