  Short summary: The Cost Accountant will be responsible for monitoring and reporting monthly inventory balances, preparing cost variance calculations, and maintaining standard price settings in the GMS system. This role requires preparing detailed cost of goods sold reports, slow-moving inventory reports, and other cost-related analysis. The position works closely with other departments to ensure accurate costing and timely financial reporting. Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and knowledge of Oracle and Microsoft Office are essential. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and calculate cost variance of raw materials and finished goods - Set standard price for finished goods in GMS system - Prepare cost of goods sold report - Prepare slow-moving inventory report - Prepare CV Allocation, Part Re-Evaluation, and Finished Goods NRV reports - Perform other related tasks assigned by management Organizational Structure: The Cost Accountant will report directly to the Accounting or Finance Manager. The role will coordinate with production, purchasing, and warehouse teams to collect accurate cost data. The position is part of the finance department, which includes accountants, costing specialists, and finance staff, all working to support the company’s manufacturing operations and financial control.
