    The Producer will partner with the Lead Artist to manage an art development team. At a high level, the Lead Artist is responsible for quality, while the Producer is responsible for client communications, project & risk management, and facilitating day to day operations. In addition, this role will serve as the primary Japanese-speaking liaison for clients and potential partners, supporting both ongoing projects and potential business development efforts through clear, culturally accurate communication. The Producer will coordinate, direct, and project manage the short and long-term goals of an art development team while ensuring seamless communication between Pixel Mafia and Japanese-speaking stakeholders. Responsibilities: >Identify deliverables, balance scope and capacity, and create project plans that align with the client's milestones >Assign tasks and track detailed KPIs to measure actual costs vs budgeted costs Project manage the art team by communicating client needs, managing dependencies, identifying risks, and driving the team towards milestone deliveries >Act as the primary liaison between Pixel Mafia and Japanese-speaking clients, partners, and prospects >Translate and interpret client meetings, emails, presentations, and business discussions between Japanese and English >Support business development efforts, including client inquiries, presentations, and relationship building with Japanese partners >Coordinate regular client communication to ensure they understand all key issues impacting the project >Provide cultural context and guidance to ensure alignment and avoid miscommunication >Conduct daily stand-ups with the team >Generate daily/weekly status reports for the client and company directors >Manage risks and escalate issues appropriately

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    [MUST-HAVE] -N1 fluency in Japanese and English, with the ability to communicate professionally and effectively across written, verbal, and client- facing interactions >Previous experience working directly with Japanese companies, clients, or teams, with a strong understanding of Japanese workplace culture, business etiquette, and communication styles >At least 5 years of strong experience in client-facing roles, translation/interpretation, or account/project management >You graduated from a top university, ideally with a Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Degree in Business Studies >Proficient to advanced skills in MS Excel >Exposure to project management software like Shotgun, Jira, Hansoft, Miro, Trello, etc. is a plus >You are extremely organized, detail-oriented, and have the ability to map out complex processes and track dependencies effectively >Candidate must be a multitasker, highly motivated, a great communicator, and prides themselves on delivering commitments >Advanced time management and problem-solving skills >You possess a sincere interest in digital arts and/or software development [NICE-TO-HAVE] -none [NEGOTIABLE] - None
