Job Description

Preparation of trade-related documents and handling of import/export operations (highly prioritized for this position) Support for monthly and annual financial closing activities Checking and verification of all expenses, statements, and calculations Tax computation support, including Expanded Withholding Tax (EWT) and VAT calculations, as well as assistance with tax filing and payments Handling bank reconciliations Daily bookkeeping and recording of financial transactions Monitoring and management of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes Ensuring compliance, maintaining records, and managing filing systems Handling and managing accounting-related emails Providing support during audits

Requirement

• At least 5 years of accounting experience in a private company Candidates from accounting consulting firms are not preferred; practical accounting experience in operating/private companies is required. • Experience using designated accounting software Experience using either “Xero” or “QNE” is mandatory. • Knowledge of trade accounting and foreign exchange Must have strong knowledge of trade accounting and a solid understanding and awareness of foreign exchange fluctuations and market movements. • Experience in import/export operations Must have practical experience in import/export operations, including the preparation of trade-related documentation.
