Job Description

This position will take over all Accounting and Finance duties currently handled by the General Affairs Staff. - General Accounting Duties: Voucher entry, invoice management, A/R and A/P management, cash and bank balance management and reconciliation. - Financial Closing Duties: Coordination of monthly and annual closing procedures. -Tax/PEZA-Related Duties: Preparation and processing of PEZA related documents. Preparation of tax returns based on BIR regulations with the assistance of an accounting firm. - Financial and Other Administrative Duties: Preparation and submission of monthly financial reports (in English) to the Japanese supervisor. Management of payroll for 8 employees and contributions to related government agencies (SSS, PhilHealth, PAG-IBIG). Support for inventory management in collaboration with other departments.

Requirement

<Must> - Graduated of BS Accountancy or a business related course can be also considered. - 2-3 years of accounting and finance experience within a PEZA Economic Zone. - Basic knowledge of Philippine taxation and BIR compliance. - Knowledge of Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - Business-level English (sufficient for internal and Japanese supervisor communication, and report writing). <Better> - Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent qualification. <Soft Skills> - Accuracy and ability to meet deadlines are highly valued. - Highly self-motivated and able to act quickly and independently.
