Job Description

- Generation of new business ideas and strategic planning. - Market research, analysis, and business plan formulation. Conduct investigative activities toward verification and commercialization; formulate comprehensive business plans. - Launch and promotion of verification projects - Relationship building and negotiation with relevant government agencies and organizations. Includes the Department of Agriculture (DA), National Irrigation Administration (NIA), and other national and local government bodies. - Execution of other tasks related to new business development. In performing the above duties, the candidate shall follow instructions from Kubota, the local project team, and local subsidiaries as appropriate.

Requirement

<Must> - Industry Experience: Operational experience in agriculture or agriculture-related fields (Experience in rice farming is highly preferred). - Management Experience: Corporate management experience (Experience in an agriculture-related company is highly preferred). - Government Relations: Proven track record of collaboration or dealings with government agencies (Experience with agriculture-related agencies, such as the Department of Agriculture, is highly preferred). - Networking: Strong communication skills and an existing network necessary to build robust relationships with government agencies. - Mobility: Willingness to travel frequently across the Philippines. - Attitude: Self-motivated, passionate about the work, and possessing integrity. <Better> Experience in new business planning and development. Academic knowledge regarding agricultural technology (e.g., rice farming) or agricultural machinery.
