• Job Description

  Plant Engineer must have a deep expertise in HVAC systems and cold storage operations. This role is essential in ensuring the optimal performance of refrigeration systems that support our production and warehousing of temperature-sensitive products. Key Responsibilities: > Oversee the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of HVAC and refrigeration systems in cold storage areas (including walk-in freezers and blast freezers). > Ensure all systems meet temperature requirements critical for ice cream production and storage, with consistent monitoring and timely corrective actions. > Lead preventive and corrective maintenance activities to avoid downtime or product loss. > Monitor and calibrate temperature control equipment and sensors to ensure system integrity. > Coordinate with external contractors, vendors, and internal maintenance teams as needed. > Maintain compliance with food safety, GMP, and plant hygiene standards relevant to refrigeration operations. > Manage energy efficiency and propose improvements to reduce operational costs. > Keep detailed documentation of maintenance activities, repairs, and system logs. > Participate in audits and inspections related to cold chain equipment and infrastructure.
