Job Description
Position Overview: -A position responsible for handling all operations related to import and export from overseas, as well as domestic and international logistics in the Philippines. -Accurately execute a series of procedures necessary for import and export, such as required license management and customs clearance. -Coordinate and manage domestic and international shipping schedules to ensure smooth progress from cargo collection to delivery. -Organize Philippines-specific rules and precautions, and provide appropriate advice and alerts to the Japan headquarters and relevant internal departments in the Philippines. Main Responsibilities: -General customs and clearance handling related to imports and exports, including operating the BOC (Bureau of Customs) portal and obtaining/renewing import licenses. -LTO renewal and new CPR/CPN application/management for FDA-regulated imported products (toys, cosmetics, etc.). -Checking product Ingredients and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) to confirm if they are subject to regulation. -Handling daily import operations, whether regular or ad-hoc, for the trade of goods via sea or air using forwarders and couriers. -Communicating with forwarders and couriers, handling cargo pickup, scheduling, and preparing/submitting all necessary documents until delivery to the store. -Identifying HS codes according to the product, checking tariff rates, and sharing the information internally. ー Creating and tracking the progress of trade-related documents. -Properly executing import procedures from Japan, making lists of Philippines-specific import regulations and precautions (various certificates and license requirements), and sharing/instructing the Japan headquarters and internal staff. Collaborating with the project person in charge in Japan. -General practical domestic logistics operations in the Philippines, including all tasks related to inbound and outbound shipments within the country. -Handling all other general operations related to import/export and logistics in addition to the above.

Must Requirements: -Extensive practical experience in international trade, import declaration, and customs clearance operations in the Philippines 3-5 years. -Ability to control local forwarders and customs brokers, and negotiate strongly in the event of delays or troubles. -Minimum of 3 years of practical experience in international trade and import customs clearance. -Practical experience in applying for and operating LTO (License to Operate) and CPR/CPN (Certificate of Product Registration / Cosmetic Product Notification) with the Philippine FDA. Welcome Requirements: -Experience handling merchandise such as comics and character goods. -Japanese language skills are a plus. (Candidates with basic Japanese proficiency and work experience at Japanese companies are welcome).
