Job Description

ROLE PURPOSE The successful candidate will be responsible for: • Assuming ownership of and continuously enhancing the existing Power Platform environment • Delivering end-to-end automation solutions in support of loan operations • Facilitating knowledge transfer to the IT Head where applicable SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES • Power Apps (Canvas): Development and improvement of loan operations applications • Power Automate: Design and management of approval workflows, notifications, and system integrations • Power BI: Creation and maintenance of executive dashboards and KPI reporting • Dataverse: Data model management, table design, and Business Process Flow (BPF) configuration KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES • Design, develop, and continuously improve solutions using Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven) • Build scalable Power Automate workflows incorporating branching logic and error-handling protocols • Architect and optimize Dataverse data models with performance and delegation in mind • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and executive-level KPI reports • Lead integrations via APIs and connectors, including with accounting systems such as Xero • Produce and maintain thorough technical documentation, including design documents, process flows, and change logs

Requirement

Minimum Qualifications (Non-Negotiable) • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on, professional experience with the Microsoft Power Platform • Demonstrated experience developing both Power Apps Model-driven and Canvas applications (candidates with proficiency in only one application type will not be considered) • Solid Power Automate flow design experience, including approvals, conditional branching, and error handling • Working experience with Dataverse or relational data modeling • Demonstrated ability to work independently: from gathering requirements through design, development, testing, and deployment • Proficient in business-level English communication, both written and verbal Preferred Qualifications • Background in lending, financial services, or related industry • Experience developing Power BI dashboards • Familiarity with loan calculations, including interest, amortization schedules, and Effective Interest Rate (EIR) • Experience with REST API integrations • Exposure to Business Process Flows (BPF) • Holder of relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., PL-900, PL-200)
