Job Description
Key Responsibilities -Provide expert technical guidance on the prevention, control, and management of Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) within primary health care frameworks. -Design, implement, and evaluate health programs and interventions focusing on hypertension, diabetes, and cardiovascular diseases. -Collaborate closely with government health agencies, particularly the Department of Health (DOH) and Local Government Units (LGUs), to ensure the successful rollout of health initiatives. -Integrate project strategies with national health frameworks, ensuring alignment with PhilHealth or similar national insurance systems. -Lead strategic discussions, provide evidence-based recommendations for NCD countermeasures, and contribute to overall project leadership.

Qualifications and Requirements -Advanced degree (Master’s degree is highly preferable) in Public Health, Medicine, Epidemiology, or a related field. -Minimum of 8 to 10 years of professional experience focusing on NCD prevention and control, as well as primary health care systems. -Demonstrated hands-on experience in managing or advising on hypertension, diabetes, or cardiovascular disease programs. -Proven track record of successful collaboration with government health agencies (preferably DOH or LGUs). -Strong practical background in developing and implementing broad NCD countermeasures and strategies. -Familiarity with PhilHealth or similar national health insurance systems is a strong advantage.
