Financial Management & Strategy \n> Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with company goals. \n> Prepare annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-range financial plans. \n> Analyze financial performance vs. budget and prior periods; explain variances and recommend corrective actions. \n> Provide financial models, scenario analysis, and cost\u2013benefit studies for management decisions. \n> Support management in evaluating new investments, projects, and business opportunities. \n \nII. Accounting Operations & Financial Reporting \n> Oversee general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll coordination, and fixed assets. \n> Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. \n> Maintain compliance with accounting standards and company accounting policies. \n> Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and adjusting entries. \n> Ensure proper documentation and retention of accounting records. \n \nIII. Budgeting, Cost Control & Profitability \n> Monitor operating expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities. \n> Implement cost control measures and spending limits. \n> Track profitability by department, project, or business unit. \n> Recommend pricing, margin improvements, and efficiency initiatives. \n \nIV. Cash Flow & Treasury Management \n> Monitor daily cash position and short-term liquidity. \n> Prepare cash flow forecasts and working capital analysis. \n> Manage bank relationships, credit facilities, and loan compliance. \n> Ensure timely collection of receivables and proper disbursement controls. \n \nV. Taxation & Statutory Compliance \n> Ensure timely filing and payment of all taxes and statutory obligations. \n> Oversee preparation of tax returns, schedules, and reconciliations. \n> Coordinate with external tax consultants and auditors. \n> Monitor changes in tax laws and assess impact on the company. \n \nVI. Internal Controls, Risk & Audit \n> Design, implement, and strengthen internal control systems. \n> Lead internal audit initiatives and follow up on findings. \n> Coordinate external audits and regulatory examinations. \n> Investigate financial irregularities, variances, and potential fraud. \n \nVII. Systems & Process Improvement \n> Improve accounting workflows and automate processes where possible. \n> Ensure integrity and effectiveness of accounting and ERP systems. \n> Develop standardized procedures and documentation. \n \nVIII. Leadership & Team Management \n> Supervise and develop accounting and finance staff. \n> Assign tasks, set performance targets, and conduct evaluations. \n> Provide coaching and technical guidance. \n> Promote a culture of accountability and accuracy. \n \nIX. Management & Stakeholder Reporting \n> Prepare executive dashboards and financial presentations. \n> Provide clear financial insights to senior management and Execom. \n> Support cross-functional teams on financial matters. \n \nX.
