• Job Description

  Provides accounting services including, financial accounting, credit and collection, billing, payroll, forecasting and analysis. Works independently and manager reviews complex work only. May supervise a small team in a team leader type of role. Would also contribute to discussions regarding new systems or procedures. A “team leader” type role that assists in the training of less experienced colleagues. > Manages, organizes, and maintains the confidentiality of all financial transaction. This includes both online transactions and documents and physical copies. > Manages the Organization's payables and receivables, and bookkeeping activities, and reconciles them if and when necessary. > Acts as the team leader of the section and a reliever in the absence of the Section Manager. > Controls fixed assets by checking existence periodically. > Complies and partners with outsource service provider, consultants, government and other financial institutions such as banks for the mandated financial standards on taxation (computation of taxes, payments, and preparation of tax returns), and report(s) on financial statements. > Analyzes data and provides P&L, forecasts, and other financial reports and recommendation to the Management Team. > Closes financial books in a timely manner taking into consideration both the organization's and government's timeline. > Creates, reviews, and revises (if necessary) the policies and processes of the Organization. > Performs other tasks that maybe assigned from time to time. Ex.: Audit of financial transactions, books, and processes.
